Evo Rectangular Basin
The basin shaped like the sink it lives in. The EVO rectangular basin does what round basins can’t, it fits inside a standard kitchen sink, corners and all, turning one sink into a proper two-stage wash station: soapy water in the basin, rinsing in the sink around it, no water wasted running while you scrub.
That sink-fit is the shape’s superpower, but far from its only job: the straight sides pack more soaking laundry into the same footprint, slide flush against walls and cupboards where round basins waste corners, and sit square on a counter, a washing machine or the caravan floor without rolling their contents around. At 390mm x 325mm with 145mm of depth, it takes a real load of dishes or washing.
It’s also the water-wise workhorse: catching rinse water for the garden, hand-washing during outages, and running the two-basin dish method that halves water use, small daily savings that matter in a water-conscious country. Durable, light to carry full, and easy to wash out and, like the whole EVO range, proudly South African: designed and manufactured locally.
What’s included:
- 1 x rectangular basin
Care instructions:

FAQs:
Will it fit inside a kitchen sink?
That’s the design intent, the rectangular shape sits inside standard sinks, corners included, for in-sink washing and water-saving dish routines.
Rectangular or round — which basin should I choose?
Rectangular for in-sink washing, flush storage against walls, and packing more laundry per footprint; the 42cm round for general-purpose household and camping duty. Many homes run one of each.
How does it save water?
Wash in the basin, rinse around it, the two-stage method uses a fraction of running-tap washing, and the used water pours straight onto the garden.
Is it good for laundry?
Yes, the straight sides soak more washing in the same space than a round basin, and it sits square on top of a washing machine or counter.
Will it handle hot dishwater?
Yes, it’s built for daily dishwashing duty.
